It's that day of the year again. The anniversary of the worse day of my life.

It's been 12 years today since I lost my treasured and much cherished mum.
Sometimes it feels like endless years and at other times like it was only yesterday.
I found these words which seem like a perfect fit for how I feel.

Time changes nothing.
I still miss the sound of your voice,
the radiance of your smile,
and just being in your presence.

So no, changes nothing.
I still miss you as much toady
as I did on the day you left me.

Half of my heart lives in Heaven now.
